Ove Nyström new Director of Business Area Large Corporates at EKN
EKN appoints Ove Nyström as new Director of Business Area Large Corporates and member of EKN’s executive management. He will take up his position on the 1st of August 2026, succeeding Lena Bertilsson, who is retiring.
Ove Nyström is currently Head of Infrastructure and Telecom at EKN and brings extensive experience from both EKN and several banks.
“With his extensive experience and engaging leadership, Ove Nyström is the right person to take the business area forward and continue to strengthen the Swedish offer. At the same time, I would like to express my sincere thanks to Lena Bertilsson for her significant contributions and strong commitment during her years as Director of the business area,” says Åke Nordlander, Director General of EKN.
Ove Nyström has held various roles at EKN and has worked in export finance at Royal Bank of Scotland and ABN Amro Bank. He has also been seconded to Singapore with Standard Chartered Bank.
“I very much look forward to taking on this role and building on what Lena Bertilsson has established. Contributing to EKN’s important mission to strengthen Swedish exports is a privilege, especially when working alongside such highly skilled colleagues,” says Ove Nyström.
