Assignment to EKN to re­view the ex­port cre­dit sys­tem with re­gard to cli­mate change

EKN has been commissioned by the Government to review how the Swedish and international export credit systems will contribute to sustainable energy and sharply reduced greenhouse gas emissions.

The assignment includes describing how export credits can be adapted to be in line with the Paris Agreement and not creating fossil-dependency lock-in effects, as well as analyzing how the regulations can be changed to support transformation towards sustainable energy. The assignment will be conducted in co-operation with SEK.
