New Head of Unit for Medtech, Industry and Commodities
EKN has appointed Kristian Orrbeck as a new Head of Unit for Medtech, Industries and Commodities within the Large Corporates Business Area. The customer team currently handles a large number of transactions, which is expected to increase during 2021.
“With his extensive track record working with major companies such as ABB and Scania, Kristian will bring a great deal of exports knowledge to his new team. He is highly driven and I am convinced that he will contribute significantly to the continued development of our offering as the business and business models at export companies evolve,” says Marie Aglert, Director of Business Area for Large Corporates at EKN.
Kristian has worked at EKN since the end of 2009, most recently as Senior Underwriter with account responsibility for Saab and Scania. He also has a long work history from the banking sector, including HSH Nordbank and Credit Agricole CIB.
“We predict that the customer team will be handling even more transactions in 2021. I look forward to further developing our relationships with new and existing customers alike, and identifying new ways to help our companies safely conduct even more export transactions,” says Kristian Orrbeck.
Kristian Orrbeck will take up his new role on 2 November, succeeding Johan Ehrenborg.
